Two years on a construction site

For the past two years I’ve been photographing the Stephenson Quarter development, the site behind Newcastle’s Central Station where Robert Stephenson designed and built The Rocket in 1829.
I was commissioned by Clouston Group to document the story, construction, engineering and people behind this ambitious project, and it’s been an absolute privilege and a pleasure. Phase 1 is now nearing completion.
